Welcome to our new home!

Tonal Diversions now has its own domain! Hooray!

I decided to take the plunge and move to a self-hosted blog with WordPress.org. This gives me greater flexibility in and more control over what I do here. I still have a lot to learn, so please bear with me as I tweak some things here and there.

The main reason I wanted to put this in its own post is because there’s a catch with the subscriptions. My subscribers all got moved over here, but the folks at WordPress.com alerted me to this:

Please keep in mind that while your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site.

This only affects folks who had subscribed via WordPress.com, so if you signed up via my email link you should be fine.

So that’s the news here. I hope to get working on my next music post very soon!
