Lori’s Midwest Clinic Adventure

I got to attend the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic this year! It’s right nearby in Chicago every year, but this is the first time I’ve been to the entire conference. A few years ago, I got a chance to attend for a day. Ever since, I’ve wanted to return for the full experience. This year, I made it happen and had a fantastic time!

What cemented my commitment to go was a chance to participate in composer John Mackey’s exhibitor booth. I had a great time and enjoyed meeting both John and my fellow composers who were sharing the booth.

Episode 5 of my Tonal Diversions podcast recaps my whole Midwest experience. You can subscribe to the podcast via your favorite podcast provider.
